Suburban Nagoya: Meito Ward

I`ve gotten into the habit of taking a walk early in the morning to explore the area around the apartment and take my daughter to different playgrounds.

This sketch is from one such park, with the typical residential fabric on both sides of a curving street. The area that includes Meito Ward, located on the eastern fringe of Nagoya, developed primarily as a suburban town around the 1960s, and it really shows.
