about me

I have been sketching the world around me for more than 20 years.

As someone who has been continuously transplanted from city to city, country to country, continent to continent throughout his life, sketching has been a handy tool to discover and absorb new sights and sounds, to help me make sense of my surroundings, and to create a home for myself. Sketching helps me slow down; it makes me a humbler person... my hope is that sketching becomes more and more a meditative act of discovery, gratitude, and worship.

I am a lucky husband and grateful father of two young children, and am an architect now living in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
