winter boots and spring shoes
A series of sketches of footware, one each from February, March, and April, at the Friday night community school. I'd have expected a gradual change from mostly boots to mostly shoes by now, but with snow still a regular occurrence, it's been a slow transition.

cycling shoes
Two pairs of cycling shoes: Shimano road shoes, carbon soled (who knew such things existed...?), found for $10 at a local thrift store, and Mavic SPD shoes, my first pair of cycling shoes bought last year as I made the leap of faith to clipless. Now I need road pedals and cleats...

Break Forth 2017
The Break Forth Canada conference is our annual retreat for my wife and me... this year's event returned to the Shaw Conference Centre, and we enjoyed the weekend with 14 other friends being renewed and equipped...

Nina Haggerty Centre during Kaleido
My son crafts a paper puppet (a Transformer) at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts, helped by staff from the Edmonton Public Library, during the Kaleido Family Arts Festival.
